Covid-19 update

Coronavirus has changed the world! We have had to make many changes to our working practice. This means we will have to safeguard ourselves and you, our clients, which will require purchasing PPE and sterilising products and equipment. This does not just apply to FHA members, but all hairdressers working in our industry wherever their workplace may be.

First appointment back, every guest will be skin tested up to 7 days prior to colour service NO LESS than 48 hours prior to their appointment.

For those travelling from a far I will be sending you a patch test kit to apply . There is handy little video on my social media, to show you how to use them. There is also a blog on here, explaining why skin testing is so important.

What will the new normal look like?

All clients will be asked to wear a face covering or unused disposable mask, I have these to supply if you forget to bring one.

You will be asked to use hand sanitiser when you enter.

1-to-1 service.

If you have recent onset of any of the most important symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19)

  • a new continuous cough
  • a high temperature
  • a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of smell or taste (anosmia)

Please contact me immediately if you show any of the above symptoms or are self isolating and have to cancel your appointment due to this you will not forfeit your booking fee, we will reschedule your appointment for when you’re well and no longer self isolating.

My preferred payment will be via Fresha my booking system – I will also still accept cash.

What will I be doing to keep you safe?

As well as all of the above procedures I have put in place, I will also be doing the following:

All touch-points, surfaces and floors will be deep cleaned in my work area, between appointments.

A clean gown and disposal towel will be used for every individual (this is normal standard practice).

I will be sterilising all tools used, in either a sterilising solution called Salonside, along with my normal Barbicide.

I will be wearing a type 2 mask for each appointment.

Price changes

There has been an annual price adjustments .

I have made pricing easier to understand by having a tiered system for your colour. So for those long roots there is an additional amount added  for product used and extra time needed.
